Focal Area: Sanskrit literature which ranges to natural, social, economic, political, health and various other dimensions of life.

The Department of Sanskrit has created an open platform “Vāgvīci” for the students of Sanskrit where they can articulate their own thoughts embedded in Indian Knowledge Systems for the benefit of society and as it is well known fact about the vast horizon of Sanskrit literature which ranges to natural, social, economic, political, health and various other dimensions of life.

The objectives of the club are:

• Vāgvīci has been organised weekly on Saturday.
• Students choose from the topics related to Sanskrit treatise.
• Students make their presentations in Sanskrit at the end of which a Q&A session takes part to further explore the other dimensions of the topic. Students conclude the topic within 3-5 minutes.
