The library of the college has been established since the inception of the college (1913) and has a separate building. The library is well-equipped and efficiently maintained with a computerized user-friendly automated system. The library implemented the SLIM21 computerized library management system and several terminals are provided for students and faculty members to search the books/research material online. The collection of the library is 48,090 till March 2023. 52 Journals, 7 Magazines and 12 Newspapers are subscribed for the users in the library. New books are added to the library regularly throughout the course of each academic year. The library provides services to the students, teachers, and staff of the College. The library has closed access, but students are allowed to access the stack on request.

The college library has a closed access system from the session 2013-14. Computerized catalogue of the books is available in the library and can be accessed through OPAC. Books can be issued for reading and photocopy by depositing one’s College Identity Card in the stack room. Users should provide the requisition slip at the entrance of the Stack room (Ground Floor) at least an hour before or the previous day for the issue of the books.
Students can issue periodicals, journals, and magazines from the designated stacks for reading and photocopy by depositing their College Identity cards at the appropriate counters/concerned person. Students have to collect their Identity cards after returning the books periodicals, journals, and magazines before 04:00 pm on the same day.

Books can be returned on all working days from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM. For delay in returning the books, a fine will be charged @Rs 5/- per day for each book. Online reservation can be done by the users for any book available in the library. To avail of this facility, the users have to provide their Borrower’s ID, E-mail ID and Mobile number to get the information at the earliest. Registered members can re-issue the document only twice.
