Admission Procedure
Vasanta College for Women is an esteemed institution affiliated with Banaras Hindu University (www.bhu.ac.in), a renowned university known for its academic excellence. The college offers a wide range of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses, and the admissions for these courses are conducted through the CUET Exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For those seeking admission into the Ph.D. program, the admissions are done through the RET Exam (Research Entrance Test) conducted by BHU (bhuonline.in).
Admissions to the program are strictly based on the merit index and the availability of seats in the respective program, following the guidelines outlined in the BHU Information Bulletin, as well as the rules established by Banaras Hindu University. These rules may be revised periodically to ensure fair and transparent admission procedures.
After counselling, if a candidate gets admission in the college, she has to fill the Online Admission Form available on the College website (www.vasantakfi.ac.in). It is mandatory for students to fill the Online Admission form before Physical Verification of the documents. The admission will be confirmed only after submitting the printout of the application form along with the academic, transfer certificates and all pending documents etc.
Procedure to fill the College Admission Form: To complete the college admission process, students are required to fill the form available on the college website (Click here for College Admission Form).
It is recommended to use a Desktop or Laptop while filling the form

- Undertaking, if required. (provided by document verification committee of the college)
- Check list of the documents.(provided by document verification committee of the college)
- Printout of the Online Admission Form of the college. (All courses)
- Provision Admit Card (downloaded from the BHU Admission Portal). (All courses)
- BHU Registration Form (with preference order). (All courses)
- CUET NTA Application Form. (All courses)
- CUET NTA Admit Card. (All courses)
- CUET NTA Score Card. (All courses)
- Proof of Course Fee Payment from Admission Portal.(Acknowledgement Slip) (All courses)
- NET JRF Certificate from UGC (Only for Ph.D. Students)
- Enrolment Letter from the concerned Department, BHU. (Only for Ph.D. Students)
- 10th Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate. (All courses)
- 12th Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate. (All courses)
- Graduation Marks Sheet of Last Semester/Year. (for B.Ed., M.Ed. & M.A.)
- Marks Sheet of B.Ed. or Equivalent Degree. (for M.Ed.)
- PG Marks Sheet of Last Semester/Year. (B.Ed., M.Ed. & Ph.D.)(wherever applicable)
- Original Transfer Certificate.(All courses)
- Original Character Certificate. (All courses)
- Recent Income Certificate. (SC, ST, OBC NCL & EWS students)
- Recent Category/Quota Certificate.(SC, ST, OBC, EWS & Employee Ward students)
- Valid PH/PC/OH Certificate. (wherever applicable)
- AADHAAR Card. (All courses)
- Print out of online Anti-Ragging Undertaking by the student & Parents/Guardian. (All courses)
NOTE:
- Students must self-attest all photocopies of their documents before submission.
- Students who have completed their qualifying examination from Vasanta College for Women and have received their Transfer Certificate (T.C.) and Character Certificate (C.C.) must submit these documents along with the college admission form.
- Students who have passed their qualifying examination from BHU or any affiliated college and have obtained a Migration Certificate, or those coming from another university, must retain their Migration Certificate. They will be required to submit the original Migration Certificate along with the BHU enrolment form when the University announces the submission dates.
- Students who have passed their qualifying examination from BHU or any affiliated college and have not obtained a Migration Certificate do not need to apply for one.
Documents to be submitted with Enrolment form
Students must retain their Migration Certificate with themselves. They will be required to submit the original Migration Certificate along with the BHU enrolment form when the University announces the submission dates.

- Photocopy of 10th Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate
- Photocopy of 12th Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate
- Photocopy of Graduation Last Semester/Year Marks Sheet (for B.Ed. & P.G.)
- Photocopy of Graduation Last Semester/Year Marks Sheet (for Ph.D.)
- Photocopy of B.Ed. along with UG/PG last semester marks sheet (for M.Ed.)
- Photocopy of Caste Certificate (SC & ST Category students)
Note: All the photocopies of the documents must be self-attested by the student.
