Focal Area: Understanding of Gender & sexuality, sensitization and inclusivity

This club is initiated by the students to start a Queer club to bring inclusivity among the students by creating awareness and eliminating homophobia, transphobia and biphobia. The club provides a gender forum to create a positive space for dialogue by breaking barriers, combatting stereotypes and sensitizing students and educating on gender and sexuality issues.

The objectives of the club are:

• Spectrum is a club, organised by students that aims to create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for everyone on campus, regardless of one’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
• To foster strong, confident and engaged communities in society at large.
• To educate on gender and sexuality issues through awareness programs, lectures, seminars, workshops, film screenings and more.
• To help students through counselling when required.
