The Enabling Cell: Differently Abled

The Enabling Cell works with the aim of ensuring that students with special needs have a smooth and barrier free experience in the college. It aims to recognize and address the needs of differently abled students. The cell organizes sensitization programs for faculty members, administrative staff and student body of the college to build an environment of empathy and understanding among them towards the special needs and abilities of differently abled students. The cell includes teachers and students with disabilities so that the problems and their solutions can be identified from a first person perspective and so that students with special needs feel comfortable reaching out to the cell members.
